About Guided Pathways:
Guided Pathways is a federally funded online training and research project designed to equip career development practitioners with practical tools and resources to integrate Essential Skills and Skills for Success tools into practice.

Benefits to your practice:
Over 49% of adults in Canada may not have the literacy and essential skills they need to engage competently in all aspects of their lives. For some, it means they have difficulty finding and keeping employment.

The Guided Pathways online course will help you understand how to apply the Essentials Skills framework and Skills for Success model to your work and client services. You will gain knowledge and confidence to address your clients’ specific needs, assess their skills, match them with suitable job opportunities, and create customized career development plans to support their career paths.

What to expect:
The course consists of four modules and combines self-paced learning, live webinars, and group work opportunities. It requires a time commitment of approximately five hours per week over four weeks to successfully complete the course.
