Breaking Down Barriers to Knowledge Exchange

Let's connect in-person and learn from each other about how to successfully engage people with a disability.

Join us in Ottawa for a REAL Xchange knowledge sharing event! Come together with other community organizations, from the Ottawa area, to share information & resources that will enhance your capacity to engage people with disabilities. 

Participants can expect the following:

• A warm welcome from the Canadian Accessibility Network 

• An interactive, treasure filled presentation from the REAL Xchange, Knowledge Translation and Transfer initiative and partner organizations

• Mini breakout sessions led by Partners For Planning focused on leveraging partnerships to achieve collective impact

• A presentation from MentorAbility on the value of mentorship for people with disabilities

• A presentation about SkillingUp, a program that builds digital equity and financial security for people with disabilities

• A conversation on building disability awareness and the impact on service delivery 

• Breakfast and lunch will be provided

Join us for a day of connecting with partners and resources to help your organization build capacity for people who have a disability though collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Tickets to this event are available at $20 per person.

Please note that on-campus parking is not included in the ticket price and will need to be paid for separately

This is a barrier-free event.
