Guest Presenter:

Casey McEuin, Manager, Michaels – Inclusion and Diversity

Building on the successes of their ‘Makers Like Me’ program- a hiring initiative to intentionally recruit jobseekers who have a disability, Michaels continues to expand their hiring across retail locations. Join us for this important session that will provide information about recruitment and hiring at Michaels.

In this information session, you will learn about:

  • Michaels and the success of the ‘Makers Like Me’ inclusive hiring program for people who have disabilities
  • Diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging at Michaels
  • Accessibility at Michaels
  • How and when you can support job seekers who have a disability to apply
  • An opportunity to ask questions

Who Should Attend: Employment Service Providers, job seekers who have a disability and other businesses wanting to learn more about disability inclusive businesses.

The ODEN Biz Connect Leader Series offers a unique platform for businesses to engage with disability employment service providers nationwide. Business leaders will share current opportunities and hiring initiatives, the benefits of working at their organizations, their diversity and inclusion goals, and the application process. This is your chance to connect directly with Human Resources and hiring managers, and to ask any questions you may have.

ASL interpretation will be provided for this session.

If you require any accommodations for this session, please email info@odenetwork.com 7 days prior to the event to submit your request.
