Beyond AODA Compliance - Supporting Employers in your Community  

ODEN is pleased to reintroduce to our members the Beyond AODA Compliance: Disability-Inclusive Hiring project, an employer-focused initiative funded by Ontario's Ministry for Seniors and Accessibility. The project aimed to help businesses move beyond meeting Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) requirements to creating truly inclusive workplaces.

Join us for this member-exclusive event where we will explore practical tools developed with input from job seekers who have a disability, including a self-paced learning module, a sector-specific AODA guide, and helpful tip sheets. These resources will support you in building capacity with employers so they can hire and retain talent while building an inclusive workplace.

Presenter Information 

A Licensed Professional Engineer with 20 years of combined working experience in corporate, entrepreneurial, and not-for-profit settings, Ingrid’s work has helped 250 people who have a disability gain employment. She has delivered Disability Training to over 500 business members.
