Light It Up! For NDEAM Kick-Off

It’s only July….but October — National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) — isn’t far off!

That’s the month we highlight, celebrate and educate about the power of disability-inclusive employment, and the contributions people who have a disability make to our economy and communities.

We’re working on the main event for NDEAM now!

Light It Up! For NDEAM™.

Join the Ontario Disability Employment Network (ODEN), the Canadian Association for Supported Employment (CASE) and MentorAbility Canada as we kick off the run-up to this national, one-night-only, exclusive NDEAM event.

It all takes place the night of Thursday, October 21. In big cities, small towns and rural communities across the country.

Maybe you participated in the first Light It Up! For NDEAM event in October 2020 in Ontario.

Or maybe you’re learning about NDEAM and Light It Up! For NDEAM, for the first time.

This year the one-night-only event is going national. And we want you to be a part of it.

At the kick-off event you’ll learn:

• What NDEAM and Light It Up! For NDEAM is all about

• How to get ready to make Light It Up! For NDEAM a shining success across Canada, to highlight disability-inclusive employment
• All about the resources developed to:
  • Help you have a successful, fun event
  • Engage with your local community
  • Involve your local politicians
  • Build new relationships with businesses
  • Help you be a part of something nation wide

Time: 12 Noon to 12:30 p.m. ET
