WELCOME TO YOURNEW WILD APRICOTWEBSITE
11:00am- 12:00 Noon ET
Join us on Zoom for this important information session, on Friday, January 31 at 11 a.m. ET!
On October 30, the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security (CCCS) released its National Cyber Threat Assessment for 2025–2026. The Centre is Canada’s technical authority on cyber security.
The new CCCS report highlights some of the key cyber threat landscape trends. They include:
Canada’s state adversaries are using cyber operations to disrupt computer networks and conduct online information campaigns to divide our society
The Cybercrime-as-a-Service business model is almost certainly contributing to the continued resilience of cybercrime in Canada and around the world
Ransomware is the top cybercrime threat to critical infrastructure
It’s vital for us at ODEN, and our member businesses and Employment Service Providers, to be aware of these digital threats. And to know how to lower the risk of being a victim of cybercrime.
That’s because ESPs have highly sensitive client data that’s known as personal identifiable information (PII).
If this PII is compromised, it can lead to identity theft, extortion and exploitation. Cybercriminals want this information.
So, join us for this important information session with speakers Dom Spiers and Stacey Lokey-Day!
