Inclusion and Employment Awareness:

World Down Syndrome Day 

Friday, March 21, 2025 – 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm EST  

On March 21, in recognition of World Down Syndrome Day, ODEN will highlight the Inclusion and Employment Awareness Project, an initiative funded by the Ministry of Education.

This project has developed a series of free, accessible resources to support students with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in exploring employment as a meaningful post-graduation goal. 

This special session will celebrate the contributions of individuals with Down syndrome while introducing families, caregivers, educators, and students to the tools and guidance available through this initiative. Join us as we share how these resources can help pave the way for inclusive employment opportunities. 

ASL interpretation will be provided for this event.
