Three-Part Webinar Series: Better Together: Building, Growing & Sustaining Strategic Partnerships 

Partnerships are central to improving organizational impact, service delivery, and outcomes for job seekers and other clients. This 3-part series will guide participants through understanding, building, and sustaining partnerships effectively.

The sessions are grounded in ODEN’s Partnership Guidebook and will offer practical tools, templates, and strategies relevant to leaders who are responsible for building, managing, or sustaining partnerships.

This series will be impactful for any professional, seasoned or beginner, who is responsible for building, managing, or sustaining partnerships. This includes:

  •  Organizational leaders and managers
  •  Program managers or team leaders overseeing partnerships
  •  Middle managers and supervisors.
  •  Partnership and collaboration coordinators

By attending all three sessions, you’ll equip yourself and your teams with practical tools, frameworks, and strategies to build, strengthen, and sustain partnerships, creating meaningful and lasting impact within your organization and for the people you serve.

Session #1: February 24, 2026. 11:00 am EST

Why Partnership Matters: The Foundation of Collaborative Impact

Discover the power of intentional partnerships and how they strengthen organizational impact. This session explores the difference between informal collaboration and structured partnerships, highlighting why partnerships are essential for effective service delivery and sustainability.

Participants will examine the business case for collaboration, including increased innovation, resource sharing, and risk mitigation. Through a guided self-assessment, you’ll reflect on your current partnerships, identify gaps, and recognize opportunities for growth.

Leave with a clearer understanding of why partnerships matter and the foundation for building strong and meaningful collaborations.

 

Session # 2: March 3, 2026. 11:00 am EST

Partnership in Practice: Developing & Structuring Successful Collaborations

Learn how to turn partnership ideas into actionable collaborations. This session guides you through the essential steps of developing partnerships, from defining purpose and shared goals to aligning resources and roles.

Explore communication strategies, including structured approaches like RACI models, to clarify responsibilities and expectations. Gain practical tools for assessing and prioritizing potential partners, such as SWOT analyses, partner selection matrices, and mapping exercises. Participants will also learn when and how to use MOUs or formal agreements to secure commitments.

Participants will leave this session with the frameworks and strategies needed to build partnerships that succeed.

 

Session #3: March 10, 2026. 11:00 am EST

Sustain and strengthen the partnerships you’ve built with strategies that ensure long-term impact.

This session focuses on maintaining collaborations through ongoing communication, performance monitoring, and shared reporting. Participants will learn to evaluate partnership outcomes regularly, identifying when to adapt, evolve, or conclude relationships for maximum effectiveness. Using case studies, we will illustrate promising practices and lessons learned throughout a partnership lifecycle. Through guided action planning, you will create concrete next steps to sustain and enhance partnerships within your organization.

Leave with practical strategies to ensure your collaborations thrive and continue to drive meaningful results.

 

All sessions are virtual and use Zoom as the meeting platform. There is no cost to attend the sessions and American Sign Language (ASL) is provided in all.
